We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Japanese restaurant! My daughter and I started with a Plum Wine drink — simply incredible! We also tried different dishes, each one more fantastic than the last. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was attentive and friendly, making our visit even more enjoyable. Simply excellent! We highly recommend it!

Best neighbourhood spot! I’ve been here countless times over the years and it never disappoints. Reliably good quality sushi. Cute cat themed restaurant. Timely service. Great for dine in or take out. Highly recommend

Recently decided to try Kiyo, and it proved to be even more enjoyable than our usual sushi spot. Been back already and it was just as good. Loved the placemats, chopstick rests and overall attention to detail. Felt a bit more elevated in that sense. And the food did not disappoint! The caterpillar roll has easily become our favourite, and we really liked the beef don. Pleasant service and atmosphere. We’ll definitely be going back.

I’ve honestly lost count of how many times I’ve eaten at Kiyo, but it still surprises me every single time. If you’re looking for the best sushi spot in midtown, this is the place. Whether you dine in or grab takeout, the quality is always amazing. PS: My girlfriend brought me takeout tonight and I swear there were sushi on the plate… but the aroma from the torched sushi set was too good. Next thing I knew, it was all gone.

I haven't had such a fantastic sushi dinner in sometime. The food was spot on. I loved the small restaurants vibes and we ordered more than we could handle and still managed to clean our plates. Good Sushi lately seems to be overly fantasized, or behind the guise of omakase. This was your daily meal, but many of my recent experiences paled in comparison. Too bad I'm not a Toronto local, otherwise we'd be back here regularly. Their house roll was particularly well done. Absolutely amazing. Thank you for the meal!

We've been coming for a few years now. Premium sushi selection always has something new that I've never seen served anywhere else in Toronto. Tonight was sea bass sashimi. Also had the best uni I've ever tasted. Service amazing despite being very busy. New mural looks great and the kid-friendly chopsticks for our daughter is a nice bonus.

Came in for an unexpected lunch on a Sunday, it wasn't busy at all and service was quick. Pretty accessible as it's ground level and a 10min walk from St Clair w station, or a short 3min walk from the Green P parking just up Bathurst Street. A decent amount of seating with a cat theme vibe - art, decor, placemats, and even the chopstick holders! The menu had lots of photos which helped with deciding between options. We tried a few apps - chicken karaage, assorted tempura (good mix of different types of veggies), scallops/shrimp skewers as well as some sushi - dynamite, kibo specialty (labelled as spicy but mild kick) etc. Everything tasted fresh with good flavours, and I especially enjoyed the apps. They also have dessert but not on the menu (cheesecake, ice cream). The green tea cheesecake wasn't that enjoyable but the black sesame ice cream was quite good.
